We are located in the Albayzín quarters (World Heritage), which is restricted to private traffic. The streets are very narrow and only public transportation and residents are allowed through.

The easiest way is to leave your car in a public parking (we have special rates in some) and take a taxi that will leave you 20 meters from the door. Be sure to give the address to the driver before taking a taxi, as not all want to drive through the street. While in Granada you will have no use for the car as most of the city is accessible by foot.

How to arrive and what to do with the car:

If you are planning to come by car, please be advised that you can’t arrive at the apartments with us due to the narrowness of the street and the impossibility to find parking places. The easiest thing is to leave it in one of the parking’s where we have special rates for our clients. If you can avoid it, try not to use GPS in Granada, it will get you lost!

The directions to the different parking’s are from the ring road that surrounds Granada. To get there follow these directions, depending where you are coming from. If you are not sure which is your directions, please contact us at info@apartamentosalhambra.es and we will advise you. If you are coming from:

Málaga-Sevilla-Córdoba- (A92 West). Once you have passed the exit to the airport of Granada, take the next exit, towards Sierra Nevada-Motril. Keep following this direction and it will put you on the ring road.

Murcia-Alicante-Barcelona (A92 East). Once you have passed Loja, you are about 1 hour from Granada. Look out for a fair wheel on the right. Once you have passed it, be careful as the exit to Granada is there. First is the exit to Jaén-Madrid and right after it, to Granada. It is very small and easy to miss. This will put you on the ring road.

Madrid-North area: you will enter the ring road directly.

Alpujarras or coast road: you enter directly to the ring road, but the exit number to parking’s 2-3-4 is diferent: 132, direction Sierra Nevada. Just as you take the exit, it divides in two, take the left. You will get to a round-a-bout, keep strait. At next round-a-bout, follow normal instructions towards Center.

If you are staying 1 or 2 days:

1.-Parking Triunfo: exit 128 of ring road that surrounds Granada. Direction Centro. You will see a tunnel, do NOT enter it, but take it on the right. You will see indications to the parking. From there, take a taxi.  This parking must be paid at the apartments.

2.-Parking Paseo del Violón Geysepark:  exit 131 of ring road that surrounds Granada. Direction Centro. You will see 4 round-a-bouts: 1st shop HIPERDELUZ, 2nd Parque de las Ciencias, 3rd Helicopter and 4th Palacio de Congresos. Take 3rd exit and you will see the entrance. To get the discount the ticket must be stamped by us at the reception.

 3.-Parking Palacio de Congresos: exit 131 of ring road that surrounds Granada. Direction Centro. You will see 4 round-a-bouts: 1st shop HIPERDELUZ, 2nd Parque de las Ciencias, 3rd Helicopter and 4th Palacio de Congresos. Take the 4th exit. This parking is paid directly there.

4.-Parking Plaza Puerta Real: exit 131 of ring road that surrounds Granada. Direction Centro. You will see 4 round-a-bouts: 1st shop HIPERDELUZ, 2nd Parque de las Ciencias, 3rd Helicopter and 4th Palacio de Congresos. When you get to the 4th round-a-bout, keep strait towards Centro, Cross the bridge and you will leave behind 2 shops: Mercadona and El Corte Inglés. After the traffic lights, you will see a square with a fountain on the right. The parking is underneath it. To take the lift to the square you must use the one for handicaps, as the other ones only take you to to -1 floor. This parking must be paid at the apartments. As it is the most central one, there is not always space available.
